Howdy there and welcome to my blog!

I was wooed by the interwebs into keeping a blog for a few reasons: 1) it’s an online scrapbook for keeping track of all Braman adventures (and let’s be real, I ain’t keepin no actual scrapbook),  2) I love the organization of being able to label, date and categorize all of my non-coherent ramblings, and 3) I’m clearly ignorant of the fact that our lives are not nearly entertaining enough to merit a blog. You’re welcome.

And now for the rest of the story:

Matthew Andrew and I were wed on July 16th, 2011, and have since been enjoying wedded bliss out west in the 'burbs of Denver...quite far from my southern belle upbringing. What's a delicate peach to do? Blog, of course!

"Don't trip, don't trip, don't trip...."

We were blessed with our first little babe on May 9, 2013: Julianna Marie.  We like her so much, we think we'll have a few more ;).

We also have a neurotic German Shepherd named Maxx.  He loves to spread his hair all over errything.
